Solid State plc is pleased to announce that it has entered into a multi-million pound agreement to work with Saab AB Surveillance, headquartered in Sweden, on a naval ELINT antenna system through its Systems division, Steatite.
Saab and Steatite have signed a framework agreement across Steatite’s five business units to design, test and deliver high-quality RF and wireless communication equipment from its broad portfolio. The company will supply elements from its world-leading antenna design and manufacturing facility in Leominster, UK, amongst other components.
Commenting on the agreement, Matthew Richards, MD of Steatite, said: “We’re very pleased to have entered into this agreement with Saab. It’s a strong testament to the extensive capabilities we have now that the Solid State group has grown organically and through acquisition over the last few years.
