The MPU5 is truly a revolutionary capability that will transform communications for unmanned vehicles. The MPU5 has extremely high throughput enabling multiple high definition (HD) video feeds while also transmitting vital C2 information as well as other sensor and voice data. The MPU5 also handles multi-path environments so well that unmanned ground vehicles will likely increase their ranges by an order of magnitude in both line-of-site (LOS) and non-line-of-site (NLOS) environments. The Wave Relay® MPU5 also includes a significant number of organic capabilities that will allow unmanned system integrators to remove current components from their systems to decrease the overall size, weight, power, and cost (SWAP-C) of their system while overall increasing the capability of the platform.
